Weekly waste card
Know what you binned, and what to do about it.
Staff log a dropped cake, a tipped jug or what's left at close in a couple of taps, with a reason. Every week the Home screen shows what waste cost you, how that compares with a usual week, and the three items that cost most, each with a suggestion.
How it works
Two taps on the bar
Pick the item, the amount and why. It works on any phone and saves even without signal.
Compared with a usual week
Last week's waste against the average of the four weeks before, so one bad day doesn't cause a panic.
A fix for each
Left over at close? It suggests how many fewer to make on those days. Gone off? It looks at how much you order.
Feeds your orders
Stock binned as left over or out of date isn't ordered again, so suggested orders shrink to what you really use.
Questions
- Do staff need training to log waste?
- No. It's one screen with big buttons: item, amount, reason. Most people get it first time.
- Does it work without signal?
